As I recently mentioned, Matt and I are headed on a road trip this month for my best friend since 6th grade's wedding (hooray, Roxanne and Lele!). The wedding is outside of Denver, Colorado during that spectacular late summer/early fall. This time of year is personally my favorite for a wedding - buuut it also can be difficult to dress for as a guest. Therefore, today I am sharing some ideas of what you can wear if you have any upcoming nuptial celebrations and aren't sure what to wear for those 80-degree daytime and 60-degree evening weather days. All you have to do is bring a nice jacket or sweater to layer on once the sunsets (and the party begins)!
Side note: These picks would also work well for a rehearsal dinner outfit too if you're a part of the bridal party and wearing a bridesmaid dress on the actual big day.

Do you realize what tomorrow is? Yes, it's Friday. But it's also September 22nd... which means FALL! The season that we all can't stop talking about will finally be upon us! Sadly, even though this is the last official day of summer it's supposed to be in the 80s here next week. That means still no boots and scarves for me :( If you're lucky enough to have autumnal temps in your town, ENJOY! If you're like me and have no clue when it's going to cool off... well, hold on to hope. It's all we've got at times like these.

Coast-Lines: Denim Jacket + T-Shirt Dress + Sandals + Clutch

FRIDAYYYY! It's here, it's here! And it's even better than usual because it's followed by a three day weekend. Yasssss. Darnit, I love me some weekends. (Who doesn't?)
Last weekend Matt and I explored a San Diego neighborhood we hadn't been to before. It's called Bird Rock, and it's got the prettiest ocean views (as well as delicious vegan pizza). Those ocean views are also why my hair looks so whack (I am aware that I cannot pull off saying "whack") in today's blog post photos. It sure was pretty, but it sure was windy, too. And my hair sure was pretty not pretty..... 😳

I'm So Fancy: Lace Dress + Heels

I love to dress up.  I feel like I am constantly on the lookout for any excuse to overdress for any occasion that I can find.  Whether it's running into Chipotle or a casual gathering with friends, I still find myself adding an extra [perhaps unnecessary for the particular event] accessory or two.  Are you always trying to find ways to get just a wee bit fancier or are you flip flops and a tee through and through?  I think a little of both is quite nice!
