Happiest of Fridays to you! After having spent the past few weeks in SoCal with me, my sister and niece left San Diego today for their journey back home. Having them leave is always a bummer for two reasons; one being the fact that I love having them around, of course, and the other being my sister takes the best blog photos. Seriously! She'll not only put up with taking them... but she actually enjoys it!! Now to find a way to keep her around in Cali with us forever... ;)

Is there anything better than having family in town? Yep, there is: when you just moved to a new city and you get to explore your new surroundings together! My sister, niece, and I have explored around downtown San Diego (we even checked out The Cat Cafe!), Balboa Park, the Del Mar dog beach, Los Angeles, and some of the very best that Southern California has to offer. Now to take Matt to my new found favorite places and continue our own adventures in our new home!
