Any Lace, Any Time: Off-the Shoulder Top + Shorts + Ankle Boots + Clutch

Hello there! How are ya? Things here in San Diego have been spectacular. We may not have real fall weather here yet, but the highs are in the 80s and the lows are in the 60s. And to someone like myself who spent the last 3 years in the desert? That is fall weather, people. I have been loving it, of course; however, most of the days still call for shorts rather than sweaters. Therefore, I've been trying to autumn-ize my summer clothes, such as in today's outfit post. I took some of my favorite May-August pieces (an off-the-shoulder top and some cutoffs) and added a pair of ankle booties. It fools my "desperate-for-sweater-weather" brain into thinking it's really fall, yet I'm not sweating my face off. Win, win!

Is it cooling off where you are? Although the days are still summer-y here, the nights are so chilly and downright wonderful. Once the sun sets, Matt and I have been spending every evening taking the dogs on long walks and coming back to the ocean breeze coming in through our open windows. It's a dream, here in SoCal. A real dream, I tell ya.
