Hello there!  Did anyone else notice it's already the 23rd of August?  Seriously, when did it get to be late August?  Life is just flyin' by, I swear!  But that just means we're having the time of our lives, right?  (Since ya know, "Time flies when you're having fun" and all that)  And speaking of fun, last weekend Matt and I took a road trip up to Las Vegas with some of our friends.  It was the perfect 36 hour vacation.  It also allowed us to get out of the 117 degree heat (!) of Phoenix... and instead enjoy 109 degrees in Nevada. Hey - when it's this hot, I'll take even a few degrees cooler!

Did anyone else notice that we are already nearing the end of summertime? When did that happen? Most people are probably dreading it, but us Phoenicians count down the days until "winter." Winter is when our weather finally gets amazing again and reminds those of us who live in Phoenix just why we moved here in the first place. Orange You Glad to See Me? Denim Jacket + Dress + Heels

Let me start off by apologizing... First, I need to say I'm sorry for this post's title.  I sincerely couldn't resist it.  Secondly, I ask for your forgiveness, because it has been so damn long since I've updated LunaVida!  This past month has been a whirlwind.  We celebrated Matt's 26th birthday, Luna's 4th birthday, and Ollie's 1st birthday.  Then, for the past week, I've been out of town in Cincinnati, visiting my Ohio friends and family.  I saw my niece and sisters, and I was able to go to my high school BFF's engagement party.  It was such a nostalgia-filled week -- albeit a very ice cream-heavy week, as well.  (FYI: Cinci has some of the best hometown places to eat, if you've never been!)  Anyway, I digress.  I am back to Phoenix now, and I hope you can accept my apologies!  ;)

This dress is the comfiest piece of summer clothing that I own.  It is so breezy, light, and easy to wear!  I generally tend to steer away from orange articles of clothing, but this dress... The flowiness... The simplicity... I mean... It really spoke to me.  Ya know what I'm sayin'?
