I Heart Printed Dresses

Hellooo. So did you get the memo that, as of last week, it's officially summer? Yeah, I know.  I thought summer started way back in the beginning of May too. Back when it went from comfortable and spring-like to unbelievably hot in a single night. But as far as calendars are concerned, summer just began. With that being said, I am pleased to announce that means you can officially start wearing sundresses every single day without anyone judging you [that's my rule, not the standard - but I think it's pretty fair]!

Black & White Maxi Dress

Hey, hey, hey! I hope you're doing well on this fine Sunday! Question: What is a trend that you have been terrified wary to try? For me, that scary trend is maxi dresses. I would see women wearing them and think, "Wow, she looks so effortless and adorable!" However, I've never been a fan of me in long dresses (I even wore a short dress to my senior prom, which was not considered the norm back then at good ole LHS). My sister is a new first time mom and she wears them on the go all the time. She looks so stinkin' cute in maxis and told me just to try them out. Yet, I was still nervous. Then I was fortunate enough to find this black and white beauty online. I received it in the mail, immediately tried it on, and was transformed into a maxi forever fan. Thank you so much for opening my eyes, Sister Shannon!

Navy Blue + Polka Dot + Ankle Strap (& the Giveaway Winner!)

Hi there! What are you all up to? I've been relaxing like it's going out of style (I blame the summer heat). Except for the occasional bout of "Just Dance" ...Yes. That "Just Dance." As in, the Wii game that is targeted towards 14 year old tweens. But lemme tell ya! That semi-nerdy (yet incredibly fun) video game will make you break out in a serious sweat. Green Machine

Hello lovelies!

What did you do this past weekend?  My sister, brother-in-law, and baby niece were in town for the past week so we hung out with them :) ... until they left on Sunday night :(  I miss them oh-so-very-much, but that's life as an adult I suppose.  The upside is that every time either one of us visits the other, we are lucky enough that it means we get to travel to a vacation destination (they live in Orlando and we live in Phoenix) -- so that's a win-win!
