Our hotel room, which we booked online about 12 hours before arriving, was... not great (as you can probably tell from the curtains... and the carpet... and my face).
But oh, well! That's what adventure is all about - just going for it, even if it's not always 100% comfortable!
How do you tend to dress on vacation? Do you stretch your comfort zone when in places like Las Vegas? Or do you stick to your traditional style 24/7/365, no matter where you are? I generally keep with my personal style, but this time I really felt like I should at least push the boundaries and wear heavier makeup (which I basically never do) for a little added fun.
