Mine was spent with family & friends, which of course means it was a fantastic time! On Friday one of my very best friends from grade school & her boyfriend came down to Florida from South Carolina, so we had dinner and drinks together. On Saturday Matt & I headed to Orlando to kick off my birthday celebrations [a few days early] with my dad, sister, and brother-in-law at Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure. We finished the night at the ever classic Cheesecake Factory before attending a bridal shower on Sunday afternoon. All in all, I'd say it was a pretty successful weekend in my book!

I jumped up on this stone wall so I could check out the newest Wizarding World of Harry Potter construction that is going on at Universal Studios Orlando right now. [For those interested: it's gonna be biiig.]
Shannon is over 8 months pregnant hence the wheelchair.
Don't mind my ridiculous strand of bangs in the middle of my forehead. I wasn't having a good bang day with the wind, haha.
Shannon's adorable colorblock maxi maternity dress is from Old Navy (plus it's currently on sale for $28 from $34.94 and you can get 15% off your online purchase with code "DAYLIGHT" for a limited time!).
I love weekends that are filled with nonstop events, like this one. I mean, of course, I enjoy a lovely weekend at home with Netflix too, but with my birthday coming up, I am currently craving lots of adventure & fun!
What did you do this weekend? What do you typically wear to amusement parks to stay comfy yet stylish? Let me know, because I love to hear!
Xoxo,

Aww this looks like so much fun!!! I want to go to Harry Potter world SO BADLY, and didn't know there was new construction going on?? Is it another park, or what? I wear super comfy clothes to them parks, usually some stretchy colored skinny jeans or leggings and a cute, oversized top with sperries or converse! We used to have annual passes to Disneyland, and so I had my "uniform" down! ;)

haha *THEME parks, not "them parks"
DeleteThere is a whole new gigantic part being built at Universal Studios Orlando (the first part of HP World is at Islands of Adventure) and it is rumored to be opening next summer, so you should definitely go then if you get a chance! It is so much fun :D
