Spring Awakening: Fun, Floral, Flirty

Hiiii guys... I've got somethin' to tell ya...

My 24th birthday is today!  Even though I feel like I am getting old with each passing year [Well... duh, Allie.  Because you are. But you all know what I mean ;D], I still love birthdays.  I am grateful to be surrounded by so many loved ones and for the opportunities I've received throughout the years.  Like this past weekend for example, Matt & I went down to Tampa to celebrate my birthday a few days early with some friends from college.  It always makes me feel fortunate to have so many amazing people in my life who want to celebrate me successfully making it through another year without falling to my death [Is that too morbid?  It's just that I am really clumsy, so it is a much bigger possibility for me than the average person.]...  I am kidding, of course!  But joking aside, I am beyond-words-thankful for another amazing year and ready to see what 24 has in store [I didn't even mean to rhyme that, but how lucky that it did!].  I am prettttyyyyy sure it may very well be my favorite year so far :)

Can you tell that I am head over heels in love with florals lately?  (I mean, lets be honest -- my last three outfit posts have all included flower prints of some sort. See them here, here, and here.)  It must be that spring is in the air!

This is the outfit I wore out last weekend for my birthday party.  It has pockets!

What is it about pockets in dresses that we all seem to love so much?  I rarely never even utilize them!

I did my own hair that night and I was pretty proud of the results (I am terrible at curling my hair generally.)

What are you thankful for this year?  Do you still have birthday parties?  Like I mentioned above, I absolutely love birthdays so I hope to never outgrow the "b-day celebration" mode.
