Nail Art Addict

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!  Hope you are enjoying your day whether you were lucky to get off from work/school or not :)

Today I thought I'd switch things up a tad and focus on a little bit of... beeeauty!  This blog is primarily for affordable fashion, but I think it'd be fun to also share other interests-- like nail art, baby!  Nail art is a trend I am so glad has happened over the past few years.  I could (ahem... meaning I totally do) spend hours looking at all the amazing nail art on Pinterest and probably never tire of seeing people's creativity when it comes to their digits.

Looking back on the days when I would just paint all my nails one solid color makes me depressed... I was missing out on a whole other form of self expression! ;)  That being said, I decided to share some of my favorite past nail art.  Hope you like it!

Sorry for the Red Bull shout out... We were playing paintball that day, and I wanted to get a shot of my mani before it was ruined :P

So if you can't tell based on the amount of pictures I have of this dark navy blue nail polish, it is BY FAR my favorite nail polish I own. It is called "Blue for You" by ULTA, and it stays on for a long time without chipping or leaving your fingernails yellowed like so many other dark polishes. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

This is what "Blue for You" looks like without any other nail art added. Kinda moody, kinda classic.  Looove it! I am so happy to report that you can still purchase it here.
