Seeing as today is Monday, and many people dread this particular day of the week, I thought I'd try to lighten the mood by including a few work wear options. Below is some workplace attire inspiration for you all, ranging from jeans and tee casual to full on business suit required.
(I got mine through a Living Social deal), Jennifer Lopez for Kohls flats
New York & Company plaid blazer, Old Navy bow blouse,
My Michelle pencil skirt, White by Vera Wang heels
(My puppy, Dakota, decided to make a cameo in the picture on the right. :D)
Work Wardrobe Staples:
-Cardigan (JCPenney, $20)
-Bow Blouse (JCPenney, $18)
-Pencil skirt (Forever 21, $19.80)
-Dark wash boot cut jeans (Old Navy, $25)
-Neutral colored slacks (Kohls, $27.99)
-Conservative heels with a heel that isn't too high (Payless, $19.99)
So whether your days are spent at even the most casual workplace (my boyfriend is allowed to wear jeans, t-shirts, and Vans everyday- seriously!) or you are buttoned up to the brim from 9-5, I hope the looks above help you spice it up a bit. Because, after all, why not look your best at work? You're there 40+ hours a week, which means 40+ hours of showing off your fantastic personal style ;)
Let me know if you have any specific requests for upcoming occasions that you need outfit ideas for. I'd be glad to help out! Send me an e-mail at lunavida23@gmail.com or leave a comment below.
Back soon with more :)
Xoxo,

Allie,
ReplyDeleteI'm celebrating my birthday with some friends at the local casino this weekend & would love some ideas on how to look classy & cute versus like one of the chain-smoking 90 year old women with a fanny pack full of coins glued to their hip. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Gladly! I'll do a post about this tomorrow. Thanks for the idea and I love your blog ;D
